Counselling, Mentoring, and Personal Training
We're Here to Help you Find Peace, Contentment, and Purpose
Wondering what others think about our counselling, teaching, writing, and training? Our testimonial section gives you a feel for the "Phoenix Centre experience."
Counselling
We provide one-on-one counselling, which is both Transpersonal and Zen-based. By this, we mean that we explore issues not only from a practical, day-to-day perspective, but also focus on deeper, meaning-based vocational issues.

Residentials
Come and work with us for an intensive day-long or weekend long period. You pick the topic and the methodology, and we provide the guidance. The work can be intense, or we can provide quiet and peace for internal, meditative exploration.
- Explore our training events, day-long and weekend intensives, and come for a change!
Bodywork
We have been exploring the body/mind/spirit connection since 1982. We use Bodywork and Breathwork to free the energy in the body, creating expansiveness, health, and depth of spirit.
- This is the letter we give to clients to explain Bodywork.
- This page contains an overview of Bodywork.
- This is the index to our massive Bodywork section - you can learn to read the body, work on others, and find balance and contentment.
The Phoenix Centre for Creative Living has built its reputation by providing excellent counselling and mentoring.
- We work from a Transpersonal and Transformational perspective, teaching clients, as Ken Wilber puts it, to "transcend and include" that which has come before.
- We use a Zen-based focus on simple presence, self-responsibility, and gentle self-awareness. This process is supported through our use of elegant, focused, highly effective communication.

Our methodologies include:
- teaching a communication style that is based upon openness, honesty, and self-responsibility
- relationship counselling that teaches the individuals in the relationship how to speak for themselves and to commit to the changes each individual agrees to. We call this relationship integrity.
- crisis and illness intervention through the use of visualizations, meditation, and the active expression of the emotions present.
- role and purpose clarification - a process of determining life purpose, vocation, and direction - including the commitment to walk this path.
- Bodywork directed at removing emotional blocks. We provide the physical impetus to break free of pain, blocked emotions, sexual embarrassment, and lack of groundedness.
and much, much more!
