About Wayne C. Allen 

I'm a Psychotherapist, and have been in Private Practice since 1982.

Here are my academic and professional credentials:

• M.Th. in Pastoral Counselling—Waterloo Lutheran Seminary (Wilfrid Laurier University) in 1983.
• I completed a two year internship at Interfaith Counselling Centre, Kitchener, Ontario. This involved more than 800 hours of classroom training, 400 hours of individual and group supervision and 800 hours of supervised counselling of clients.
• My additional training includes: Ericksonian Hypnosis, Conflict Resolution for Large Groups, NLP training and NLP Hypnosis training, and Phase 1 (individual self-knowing) and Phase 3 (acupuncture theory and the philosophical underpinnings of the psyche) from Bennet Wong and Jock McKeen at Haven, Gabriola Island, B.C.

I teach my clients to be self-responsible. I am an expert in creative thinking and clear focus, and demonstrate, in word and deed, what it means to direct focused attention at life's challenges and overcome them joyfully and with great elegance.

I have worked with executives from organizations large and small, helping them to become more effective by sharing responsibility with others and by motivating others to work with them to build a brighter future.

About Darlene Belle (Darbella) MacNaughton

Darlene has been a teacher of the hearing impaired since 1980. She is an excellent teacher, with a decidedly eclectic, individualized approach to her teaching.

She's one year from retirement—although what that actually means is a mystery! Darbella and Wayne's Alternative Pain Management project is a major focus now, and Dar's developing the Qi Gong section of both the "practice" itself, and the videos that support it.

Darbella's focus is on Bodywork and the movement of Chi. Dar teaches the Qi Gong sections of our Bodywork workshops, as well as teaching breathing. She assists in our Bodywork clinics.
