Purpose, Presence, Contentment - A Weekend Retreat

Join us for a 3 day retreat
Friday March 19, 6 PM to Sunday March 21, 1:30 pm, 2010

retreat
Wayne & Darbella

This retreat is led by Wayne C. Allen and Darbella MacNaughton. They have been working with individuals and couples as therapists, trainers, and guides, since 1986.

This Weekend Retreat provides you with a great opportunity to find your path of purpose, while at the same time developing presence, and contentment by developing (or deepening) a real meditation practice.

In keeping with Phoenix Centre philosophy, this retreat will be hands-on, and a perfect melding of Eastern and Western practices. Darbella and Wayne will teach you techniques designed to get you into your body, and then will shift the focus to a practical exploration of your life purpose. These two themes will be interwoven, so that you become both more clear, and more grounded.

You'll learn how to make your
body, mind, and spirit work together,
while exploring your options
for elegant, vocational living.

Our key activities for the weekend:

The active exploration of grounded, centered meditation, body movement, (Qi Gong, body flexibility exercises, and walking meditation), Body and Breathwork techniques, and Zen-based Mindfulness approaches to living life fully and deeply.

breath posture

The application of discussion and writing exercises designed to help you see where you are with your life, and to elegantly chart where you wish to go.

You will learn to:

meditate

Meditate Mindfully, creating inner peace and tranquility.

Identify and Release Stress in your Body, using:

Qi Gong techniques—Develop and strengthen your Qi, as a healing, calming, and meditative force.

Focussed stretching—a form of yoga designed to open the body and free your energy.

Breathwork—how to use breath for healing and relaxation.
