Mindful Communication - A Weekend Mindfulness & Meditation Retreat

Friday September 24, 6 PM— to Sunday September 26, 1:30 pm, 2010

retreat
Wayne & Darbella

This retreat is led by Wayne C. Allen
and Darbella MacNaughton.
They have been working with individuals
and couples as therapists, trainers, and guides, since 1986.

This Weekend Retreat provides you with a great opportunity to explore how you create the drama of suffering, (and how to release it,) while at the same time developing presence, and contentment by developing (or deepening) a real meditation practice.

Our topic for this retreat is, "Mindful Communication."

We'll be looking at the difference between "political" and "personal" relationships (hint: confusion in this area is the cause of many communication problems—especially at work!) We will explore The Phoenix Centre's resetting of the traditional Communication Model. And we'll give you opportunities to ask questions and practice!

In keeping with Phoenix Centre philosophy, this retreat will be hands-on, and a perfect melding of Eastern and Western practices. Darbella and Wayne will teach you techniques designed to get you into your body, and then will shift the focus to the topic chosen for reflection. Each time we run this Retreat, we'll be updating the topic.

These two approaches—of exploration and practical experience, will be interwoven, so that you become both clear, aware and grounded.

You'll learn how to make your body, mind, and spirit work together,
while exploring your options for elegant, focussed, and liberated living.

Here's a look at what the retreats are about

Comments from participants

"I just wanted to share how much my partner and I enjoyed your weekend retreat. It gave us time to BE together, share in meditative experiences and open ourselves to new possibilities. The food was exceptional, the trails were pure joy and the energy from the group was calming and relaxing. We can't wait to sign up for the next one!"
